Office Politics

Whooo!

Finally, another chance to sit down and write again.

It's been busy around here. I have been at this internet company, TShirtsMall.com for a couple of months now and I am starting to finally feel comfortable. It takes a while to mark your territory, you know?

So I am finally getting a good pace going and getting things how they should be.

I mean come on, I know I am young but I know what I am doing. I've memorized all the usual stuff but I also know some new tricks that some of the old dogs around here don't know about.

Maybe you have been in this situation before. You are trying to be nice and take care of business at the same time. It's hard because when you are young, smart, and obviously hot stuff, sometimes its hard to let people how things need to happen. Like, who said you can't be a woman without being a bitc...well you know the word.

So this week I am making sure things get done right around here and one of the guys who thinks he owns the office decides he wants to do things his way. Hey, I don't mind you having an opinion, just as long as you can admit it's just that, your opinion.

That's not too hard right?

Apparently not for some people. Not only does Captain Status Quo aka The 30 Minute Coffee Break King decide he has a hearing problem, but apparently I should just "listen, sit down, and be a good girl." Really....

Well, I decided we should have a meeting so we could express our feelings.

Sometimes its better to get things out in the open before misunderstandings develop.

I have always said that communication is key to any good working relationship.

Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those hard core type of girls, but really, it says "Manager" in my job title for a reason...OK-K-K!

Let me tell you, it's not easy getting things done but sometimes a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do.

Well, now that I have my blood pleasure going, it's time to hit the gym. Hey, its not easy making things happen and looking smokin' hot at the same time.

And for the Office Politics Poster Boy, I think we have reached an understanding on how to work together.

Till next time!
